Lara Katz Attorney, Santa Fe Office

Ms. Katz is a member of the firm’s Natural Resources & Environmental, Administrative, and Appellate Practice departments.  Her practice is primarily focused in the areas of water, environmental, natural resources, appellate and complex litigation.  Ms. Katz has represented clients before state district and appellate courts, the Office of the State Engineer, the Environment Department, the Environmental Improvement Board, the Water Quality Control Commission, and the Public Regulatory Commission.  She is also involved in representing states in interstate water litigation before the United States Supreme Court.   Prior to joining Montgomery & Andrews, Ms. Katz clerked for the Honorable Richard C. Bosson of the New Mexico Supreme Court for two years.  During law school, Ms. Katz served as co-editor-in-chief of the Natural Resources Journal.
