The firm has extensive experience in the handling of claims and litigation involving estates and trusts.  In addition to the handling of routine probate and estate matters and the legal problems associated therewith, Montgomery & Andrews, P.A. represented the estate of the late Georgia O'Keefe in state court in New Mexico.  The O'Keefe estate was involved litigation over the will of the testatrix as well as litigation with the United States government over the value of art owned by the testatrix at the time of her death.  With respect to litigation involving trusts, the firm represented the Jacqueline Spencer Morgan Trust in litigation involving the estate of Jacqueline Spencer Morgan, her husband, Ronald Morgan, and the reformation of the Jacqueline Spencer Morgan Trust and the Jacqueline Spencer Morgan-Spencer Theater Trust.
